Carol Murray is the Training Manager for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention and Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she develops and implements Center Training programs. As a member of the CVP, she provides Trauma-Informed Care trainings throughout the hospital and community.
Carol Murray, MSS, MLSP is the Training Program Manager for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) and Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she develops and implements Center Training programs. As a member of CVP, she provides Trauma-Informed Care trainings throughout the hospital and community. She also manages the Injury Science Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Carol coordinated Take Charge! 2.0 -- A Multi-Center Randomized Trial of Mentoring to Prevent Youth Violence, and was a member of the Teen Driver Safety Research team and worked on the TeenDrivingPlan study. She previously coordinated the Center’s IWEIS project.
Prior to joining CIRP, Carol was Outreach Manager for Special Immunology Programs at CHOP where she developed, and oversaw a comprehensive adolescent HIV outreach program and won two regional Emmy awards for creating and co-producing an adolescent health social marketing campaign.
