CIRP REU Training Testimonial - Aminata Kante

CHOP Mentor(s):

Megan S. Ryerson, PhD
Meeting on BlueJeans, a video conferencing platform, every week with different seminars was truly remarkable. I was able to gain connections with graduate students who provided me with advice for a dual program of Public Health and Physician Assistant. I am very grateful to be a part of this family that  constantly looks out for one another.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Student (Summer 2020)

"My 2020 REU experience was truly unforgettable. While we were going through a worldwide pandemic, I still got the chance to interact with others. Though I was devastated we wouldn’t be able to meet in person, I was honored to have a chance to meet my CRIP REU class.

I was able to escape the reality of the difficult times and learn new skills and attributes that I could apply to my personal and professional life. I truly felt a sense of belonging. I would like to thank Carol Murray, Tom Seacrist and Dr. Flaura Winston, and the mentors and staff for making this all happen."
