"I truly enjoyed my time with the CIRP Injury Science REU Internship program. This was my first experience exploring research, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity. Under the guidance of my PI, Elizabeth Silvestro, PhD, and my peer mentor, Iman Naqvi, I worked in the CHAMP Lab in the Radiology Department on a larger project aimed at creating knee training models for educational feedback to improve training. Through this project, I was able to explore multiple fields at once including research, health science, engineering, and education-making. This was an informative and hands-on experience I will always value."
