Ashley Downs, MPH is a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Injury Research and Prevention. She is working with the teen driving safety research team to establish the foundation for driving safety among teens and young adults with neurodevelopmental differences.

Ashley Downs, MPH is a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP). Ashley joined CIRP in 2021 as a Graduate Research Assistant. She is currently working on various epidemiologic projects with Dr. Allison E. Curry and Lauren O’Malley and the team driving safety research team. Ashley’s work focuses on driving safety for teens and young adults with neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorders.

Prior to joining CIRP, Ashley worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Penn Medicine. She has also collaborated with the Neurology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital working with immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers with traumatic brain injury. Ashley has an interest in harm reduction, injury prevention, health communication, and supporting the health of communities that have suffered strategic disinvestment.
