It was a great experience to see how the process of research works in the real world. Eventually, I hope to enroll in the PsychD program at Barnard College and within it, earn a Clinical Psychologist license so that I may help children.

Summer Injury Research Intern (2014)

"During the summer of 2014 at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention, I was given the opportunity to work under Dr. Meghan Marsac for the Child Parent Interaction Study and Cellie Coping Kit. I transcribed the interviews, helped create Cellie Sickle Cell Anemia and Injury Coping Cards and the Caregiver Booklet, helped facilitate the Cellie Caregiver’s Café, and created the Facebook page for the Cellie Coping Kit. It was a great experience to see how the process of research works in the real world. My experience at CIRP, along with Dr. Marsac’s mentorship, helped to make clear an idea of what path to pursue in the future. I am currently in the undergraduate program at Barnard College as a Psychology major where I would like to keep working with children. Eventually, I hope to enroll in the PsychD program and within it, earn a Clinical Psychologist license so that I may help children in the world."
