Summer Intern -- 2013

“I worked at CIRP under Dr. Catherine McDonald for the summer after my freshman year in 2013 as part of Drexel University's Students Tackling Advanced Research Scholars (STARS) program. My experience at CIRP was a great introduction to the field of research and has since helped me land three other co-op opportunities: at Exponent, DSM Biomedical (formerly Kensey Nash), and Globus Medical. My CIRP experience was also a great stepping stone to help me gain admission into the Pennoni Honors College at Drexel, which has opened doors to many other opportunities. I am excited to be graduating with my BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering next June, and I hope to continue my education sometime in the future while working in the medical device industry."
