Research In Action

The TeenDrivingPlan Practice Guide helps parents take action to keep teen drivers safe and learning. This interactive multimedia resource is based on years of research at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and includes information and tools from the TeenDrivingPlan (TDP) program to help parents supervise their teens' driving practice. It includes short videos on how to practice specific driving goals in six environments, a Goal Guide, and a Logging & Rating tool.

We recently added two videos to the TeenDrivingPlan YouTube Channel to help parents better supervise their teens' learning-to-drive experience:

• How to Use the TeenDrivingPlan Practice Guide walks parents through the resource, including the Logging & Rating Tool, Goal Guide, and instructive videos.
• Parent-Teen Communication includes tips on how to talk to your teen about safe driving and how to to promote mutual respect and understanding.
