Lanie Graettinger, LMSW is a recent graduate from the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. She specializes in patient advocacy concerning gender-based violence and the social determinants of health. Her work focuses on supporting survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and teen dating violence through trauma-informed, compassionate care.

She brings experience as a patient advocate in New York City emergency departments, where she provided crisis support to survivors navigating medical and legal systems. Lanie currently serves as the STAR Program Evaluation & Implementation Coordinator for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Lutheran Settlement House, supporting the expansion of teen dating violence prevention programming across community sites. Her work includes program coordination, qualitative interviewing, data analysis, evaluation reporting, and multimodal support for Teen Dating Violence Coordinators.

Guided by a commitment to survivor autonomy and equitable access to care, Lanie aims to strengthen trauma-informed practices across healthcare, education, and community organizations. She is dedicated to building systems where compassionate, high-quality support is accessible wherever survivors seek help.
