Tia Millares is a Communications Associate for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In her role, she leads a wide range of communications initiatives and works primarily on strategy development for the Innovation Ecosystem (IE) program. Her work includes planning, coordinating, and promoting in-person and virtual events; engaging stakeholders and clinical and research staff; crafting messaging for internal and external audiences; and managing updates to online content.

Tia also supports communications efforts across CIRP’s training programs, with primary responsibilities to date focused on recruitment, promotional outreach, and content development for the Injury Science Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program.
