Sylvia Renji, MSW, LSW, is a Community-Based Social Worker at the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University.

Sylvia provides case management to youth and families affected by trauma and loss, drawing on her experience supporting domestic violence survivors at Women Against Abuse and working with children and families during her internship at CVP. Her dedication to trauma-informed care and advocacy led her to transition into a full-time role at CVP following her internship.

Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Sylvia is deeply committed to the safety and wellness of the minority community and is passionate about social justice. She is driven by a strong desire to give back to her community and to promote healing, equity, and empowerment for those she serves.
