Niya Murphy, MSIO, PMP serves as a Clinical Research Program Manager for the Center for Injury Research and
Prevention (CIRP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
Niya Murphy, MSIO, PMP serves as a Clinical Research Program Manager for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She oversees the financial, administrative, operational, managerial and strategic activities for the Neuroscience of Driving program.
Prior to holding this position, Niya was a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Hematology department coordinating several curative gene therapy trials for Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia. She joined CIRP in 2024 to support the growing portfolio of young driver safety research projects.
Niya brings over 10 years of research experience ranging from biomedical benchwork to human subjects clinical trials. Previous employers include the University of Pennyslvania, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
