Nicolás Fuentes Pedraza is an Intimate Partner Violence Specialist at Lutheran Settlement House and CHOP's Center for Violence Prevention. In his role, Nicolás provides counseling and resource connection to adults and adolescents experiencing intimate partner violence, integrating survivor centered care within healthcare settings. He facilitates the hospital's IPV task force and leads outreach, training, and awareness campaigns across CHOP's Primary Care spaces.
Nicolás holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and brings a lens shaped by years of humanitarian and human rights work across Latin America. He has worked with immigrant and asylum-seeking communities in Mexico, Colombia, and the United States. His work is informed by a deep interest in how institutions respond to violence, and how they can do so more equitably for communities that face overlapping systems of harm.
