Melissa Godfrey, MPH serves as a Clinical Research Program Manager I for the Minds Matter Concussion Program within the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Melissa Godfrey, MPH, serves as a Clinical Research Program Manager I for the Minds Matter Concussion Program within the Center for Injury Research and Prevention. Melissa joined the Minds Matter program in 2020. She provides leadership on both federal and industry-funded studies that enroll acutely injured concussion patients from the Emergency Department. Her projects focus on reducing disparities in access to concussion specialist care, remote patient monitoring of concussion symptoms, improving concussion recovery times, as well as exploring diagnostic and prognostic tools for concussion.
Prior to joining the Minds Matter Program, Melissa coordinated research for the Social and Behavioral Health Interventions Lab at Temple University. She has a background in health education with adolescent populations and a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University.
