Lynette Pinto is a Violence Prevention Specialist at the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Her work focuses on providing intensive case management to assault-injured youth enrolled in the Violence Intervention Program.
Lynette Pinto is a Violence Prevention Specialist at the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Through CVP’s Violence Intervention Program, Lynette provides trauma-informed case management and support to youth and families affected by violence, with a focus on promoting safety, connection, and access to ongoing care.
Before joining CHOP, Lynette worked in child and family therapy, crisis intervention, and anti-violence advocacy, supporting survivors of intimate partner violence and sex trafficking, as well as individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring trauma. Her practice is guided by survivor-centered, anti-oppressive, and community-based approaches that emphasize dignity, relational connection, and equitable access to care.
