Lindsey Mitros, BA is the Outreach Specialist on the Outreach and Advocacy team at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention. In her role, Lindsey works directly with CIRP’s researchers to translate pediatric injury research into actionable resources and information for child safety stakeholders, parents, and educators. This is done through traditional media relations, web-based communication, research reports, and social marketing. An experienced communications project manager, Lindsey focuses primarily on Violence Prevention, Pediatric Biomechanics, and Child Passenger Safety research. She is also part of the management team for the Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies. Prior to joining the Center, she worked as a public relations professional at a Philadelphia-based advertising agency. Lindsey earned her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism from The College of New Jersey. Lindsey can be contacted at
