Jamillah Millner, MPH is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Neuroscience of Driving Team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Injury Research and Prevention.
Jamillah Millner, MPH is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Neuroscience of Driving Team at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Injury Research and Prevention. Her background is in community-based research. Prior to joining CHOP, Jamillah worked at the University of Pennsylvania, where she managed two large federally funded research studies that explored the impact of vacant lot and abandoned housing remediation on improving health and safety, including reductions in gun violence. She also worked on several studies in Penn's Maternal and Fetal Medicine Unit, enrolling pregnant and postpartum women in clinical trials that investigated Covid-19 in pregnant women, opioid prescriptions after cesarean, and sleep apnea in pregnancy.
Jamillah has also worked on several other research studies, enrolling teens in projects investigating school-based violence and injury and a community-wide sexual health intervention designed to facilitate discussions about sex, birth control, and pregnancy between teens and adults in the community.
