Grace Keesey is a Clinical Research Assistant I for the UPLIFT study within the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
Prior to joining CHOP, Grace received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Temple University, minoring in Spanish. During her time at Temple, Grace worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Mood and Cognition Lab and a peer mentor for the College of Liberal Arts. During her first year out of college, Grace provided in-home therapy and case management services as a Family Based Mental Health Worker on the trauma (TF-CBT) team to families in the Philadelphia area. Her previous work includes projects on unipolar and bipolar depression, interventions to prevent out-of-home placement, trauma informed care for adolescents with various psychiatric diagnoses, relational work between children and parents/caregivers, and support for those involved in the juvenile justice system. Grace aims to broaden her experience in family and adolescent research and continue to provide interventions to the community while at CVP.
