Elora Mitchell is a Clinical Research Assistant with the Neuroscience of Driving Program at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She joined the NoD team in July 2024.
Elora Mitchell is a Clinical Research Assistant with the Neuroscience of Driving (NoD) Program at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She joined the NoD team in July 2024.
Before joining CHOP, Elora attended Villanova University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. During her undergraduate career, Elora worked as a Research Assistant in multiple research labs, including Dr. Thomas Toppino’s Metacognition Judgement of Learning lab, as well as Dr. Charles Folk’s Stress and Selective Attention lab. Elora is currently working toward her Master of Science degree in Psychology from Villanova. Her master’s thesis investigates the effect of unpredictable visual stress stimuli on visual attentional capture and distractibility.
