Ashley Jones is a Program Coordinator II at the Center for Injury and Research Prevention (CIRP) and the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Ashley Jones joined the CIRP family in May 2022. As a Program Coordinator II, she works with the Business and Administrative Director to develop, organize, maintain, and manage the infrastructure and resources necessary to operate the Center. She provides Principal Investigator/Project Support on administrative and budgetary questions/concerns, prepares relevant agreements and budgets, and serves as liaison to the CHOP Research Institute, CHOP, and the CHOP Research Institute Administration Offices.
Prior to this role Ashley worked in CHOP's Neonatology Intensive Care Unit as an Office Administrator where she served as a timekeeper for the STAR payroll system, managed all schedule processes to support unit operations, and performed all clerical support activities in a timely manner. While employed at CHOP for 9 years and counting, she attended the Community College of Philadelphia where she received her Associate Degree in Applied Science and Technology and then attended Chestnut Hill College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration.
