Philip Scribano, DO, MSCE is an Attending Physician in the Division of General Pediatrics, and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Director of Safe Place: Center for Child Protection and Health, and Program Director of the Child Abuse Pediatrics fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also currently serves as a Physician Clinical Advisor for the CHOP Information Services Digital Health and is a Fellow of CHOP's Violence Prevention Initiative. His areas of interest and research involves the epidemiology and prevention of child maltreatment and intimate partner violence, technology use in healthcare, and health services to children in foster care.
Dr. Scribano completed his medical school training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ- School of Osteopathic Medicine, his Pediatrics residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
