Lindsey Mitros, BA is the Outreach Specialist on the Outreach and Advocacy team at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention. In her role, Lindsey works directly with CIRP’s researchers to translate pediatric injury research into actionable resources and information for traffic safety stakeholders, parents, and educators. This is done through traditional media relations, web-based communication, research reports, and social marketing. Focusing primarily on Violence Prevention, Pediatric Biomechanics, and Child Passenger Safety research, Lindsey is also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Prior to joining the Center, she worked as a public relations professional at a Philadelphia-based advertising agency.
