Taylor Valerio

Clinical Research Assistant

Taylor Valerio, BA joined the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) in May 2017 during her time as an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. After being involved for over two summers, she transitioned to a full-time position following her graduation in May 2019.

As a Clinical Research Assistant for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Concussion Care for Kids: Minds Matter program, Taylor helps supports the portfolio of concussion projects by assisting with enrollment, data collection, data maintenance, and organization.

Taylor holds a BA in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and has worked as a licensed EMT-B for 3 years within the University City and surrounding West Philadelphia community. She plans to attend medical school and hopes to incorporate her interest in clinical medicine with research.
