Sean E. Snyder, MSW, LCSW currently serves as a Mental Health Therapist for the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Sean also is an Associate Fellow at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania's Center for Public Health Initiatives. In this role at CVP, Sean provides evidence-based trauma treatment, in particular the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), for youth affected by interpersonal violence. Sean has provided behavioral health services in a range of different settings, from emergency shelters, outpatient clinics, and juvenile detention centers and teaches Clinical Practice for Temple University's MSW Program. His other clinical interests include working with juvenile-justice and child-welfare involved youth and adapting Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for these populations.

Sean received his Master of Social Work degree from Temple University. He currently is pursuing a Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) degree at West Chester University of Pennsylvania to explore the organizational effects of burnout/secondary traumatic stress on child-serving agencies.
