Julia Vanni, BS joined the Center in January 2015 as a co-op student from Northeastern University. She continued to work for CIRP throughout her undergraduate career, which led to her examining the Effect of Comorbidities on the Clinical Course of Youth Concussion for her senior Capstone project under the mentorship of Dr. Kristy Arbogast. Julia also brings with her two years of clinical experience from her time as a Medical Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Upon graduation in May 2018, she transitioned into a full-time Clinical Research Assistant position with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Concussion Care for Kids: Minds Matter program. In this role, Julia supports the portfolio of concussion projects, including the development of a CHOP concussion registry and utilization of new technology to assess objective measurements of concussion. She assists with data collection in the clinic and subsequent data entry. In this role, she is able to combine her interests in clinical medicine and research.
