Elizabeth Glacken, MA, joined the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in October 2019 and serves as a Program Coordinator. In her role, Liz works with the administrative team to ensure that CIRP's operations are carried out effectively and that awards are properly managed.
Before joining CIRP, Liz worked to implement public health projects in Southern Africa that supported maternal and child health and also worked to combat the spread of HIV. She has experience managing grants and contracts from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and holds a certification in project management for development. Liz earned her bachelor of arts from Temple University and her master of arts from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
