Cassidy Kenny, BS, joined the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at CHOP in January 2018 as a student intern. After graduating from Temple University with a BS in Public Health in May 2018, she was hired as a Clinical Research Assistant and currently works with Dr. Linda Fleisher on multiple Digital Health research projects within the center, including the mychoice study.

Cassidy’s main interest and passion is to improve the lives and health of people with lower socioeconomic status and health disparities. She is extremely interested in program planning, implementation, and the dissemination of research.

Before working at CIRP, Cassidy was highly involved in program planning and implementation for HIV prevention, education, and testing at Haven Youth Center. While at Temple, she was also extremely involved in Global Brigades, an organization that works to build sustainable living conditions in Central America. As Education Chair, Cassidy led her peers in planning outreach and implementation efforts both in the United States and in Central America.
