Caroline Menapace, MSW, LCSW

Mental Health Therapist

Caroline Menapace, MSW, LCSW is a Mental Health Therapist for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Violence Intervention Program (VIP). Caroline is also an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) and works within TJU's Community and Trauma Counseling Program where she teaches a class and serves as a site supervisor for 2nd year graduate students. 

Caroline has rich experience in working with youth and families affected by violence and trauma. Caroline worked in the child welfare system as a Foster Care Social Worker and also as a Victim Advocate for child sexual abuse victims at Philadelphia’s Child Advocacy Center. She is trained in the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) and also provides therapy to assault-injured youth.

Caroline received her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Pennsylvania (Penn) School of Social Policy and Practice and is a Licensed Social Worker. Caroline is currently working towards her Doctorate in Clinical Social Work at Penn's School of Social Policy and Practice. She can be contacted at
