Bhakti Marfatia, BS is a Clinical Research Assistant at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Injury Research and Prevention.

Bhakti Marfatia, BS joined the Center for Injury Research and Prevention as a Clinical Research Assistant in 2022. She works with the teen driving research team to examine teen driving performance and the neural bases behind driving behavior using a virtual driving test and neuroimaging techniques. She also is part of the Driving After Concussion study led by Dr. Catherine McDonald, where she explores how traumatic brain injuries, such as concussions, can impact driver safety and the return to driving process.

Bhakti graduated from Drexel University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. In her current role, she hopes to gain a greater understanding of the field of neuroscience and the impact of traumatic brain injuries on behavior.
