Ayesha R. Anwar, MSW is the Program Coordinator for the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) team. Her primary responsibilities include day-to-day fiscal and operations management of VIP and program coordination. As a social worker and public health professional, she provides administrative support to bridge the communication between the VIP clinical and research teams. She brings more than 10 years of clinical research experience within the academic and nonprofit sectors. Additionally, through community-centered mediums, she has focused her efforts on addressing the psychosocial and health needs of minority children and women experiencing violence and trauma.

Prior to working at CIRP, Ayesha worked as the Clinical Program Coordinator at the CHOP MEG Lab. She is a dual-degree candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her MSW and is finishing up her MPH degree with a concentration in Global Health and Human Rights.
