CIRP@CHOP's Mark Zonfrillo, MD, MSCE (@safetymd) will be an expert participant in an upcoming Twitter Chat on sports-related head injuries in children. The chat will cover the latest concussion research, advocacy efforts, education about protecting young athletes, signs and symptoms of concussions, and treatment options.
Hosted by the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma (@injuredkids), the goal of the chat is to bring together leading researchers, public advocates, certified athletic trainers, and medical professionals to discuss tips and guidance for parents, trainers, coaches and athletes. Anyone with a stake in pediatric concussion is encouraged to attend and participate.
