New Resource Alert: Concussion Symptoms Log

May 29, 2013

In order to help parents monitor their child's daily symptoms during recovery from a concussion injury, we have developed a simple calendar to help keep track of triggers of concussion symptoms and the characteristics of the symptoms, such as their duration. By logging symptoms, CHOP's clinical concussion experts hope that families can better guide themselves through a child's "return to learn" recovery program in between follow-up doctor visits. It could also be a helpful tool to recall with your doctor what transpired since the last patient visit. Visit the comprehensive Concussion Care for KIds: MInds Matter website to learn more about supporting a child's recovery from concussion-- as parents, school staff, health care providers and coaches.
