E-Health

Can Web-based support systems help parents safely guide
teens through the first years of driving?

CIRP is taking a systematic approach to e-interventions as applied to injury problems. This four-pronged approach includes:

  1. research to identify a problem and how it can be impacted through an e-intervention
  2. creation of an e-intervention and refinement through usability testing
  3. evaluation
  4. dissemination

This approach goes beyond conventional public health approaches-- such as using health educators, laws, and policy to change behavior-- by using online, mobile and virtual interventions to better reach the target audience(s). Our team at CIRP identifies evidence-based strategies to effectively disseminate health information electronically.
